1.Pamukkale Tour from Izmir

★★★★★★★★★★5.0 · 806 reviews · 10 to 12 hours (approx.) · from $133Our pick

Travel from Izmir to Pamukkale in a small group of up to 18, with pickup, transport, lunch, entry fees, and an English-speaking guide. Spend three to four hours among the white travertines and Hierapolis ruins, then return to Izmir the same day. Guides may include Alperen, Erman, Selim, or Ekim.

“Our guide Alperen was great with his directions, history lessons and overall demeanour, making the site tour and bus ride enjoyable. A previous review is correct in that it would have been helpful to know that the Cleopatra pools were closed (also seems they have been closed for some time) and this should have been advised prior to the tour so that visitors could opt out if they wished. The other note, which is the main reason for the average review is the Onyx shop. It wasn't listed in the itinerary, and perhaps this is because the organiser knows this shop is a scam. Unfortunately, we fell for this scam…”
